Weddings at Pembroke Lodge

Suppliers can access the venue from 9:00am on the day of the wedding to allow time for full setup before guests arrive.

Yes. The Belvedere is located on the ground floor and is fully accessible, including accessible toilet facilities.

No. There is no on-site accommodation or bridal suite. However, there are several hotels nearby in Richmond.

Yes, but only inside the venue. Balloons must be delivered on the day of the wedding and helium canisters cannot be stored on site.

No. All alcohol is supplied by Pembroke Lodge and both venues operate licensed bar facilities.

Wedding cakes must be delivered on the morning of the wedding. We are unable to accept early deliveries, and any leftovers must be collected the following morning.

Yes. A selection of round and square cake stands is available, along with a cake knife if required.

Cancellation and postponement terms are outlined in your booking Terms and Conditions.

No. Only battery-operated candles and tea lights are permitted. Real flames are not allowed anywhere in the venue.

Finishing times vary by room:

Belvedere: music until midnight, bar until 11:45pm
Russell Suite: music until 11:00pm, bar until 10:45pm

No. All catering is provided in-house by our chef team. We can cater for dietary requirements with advance notice.

Civil ceremonies typically last around 30 minutes.

No. Ceremony music and readings must not be religious in nature. Music should be provided on an iPhone or iPod.

Yes, but only Monday to Wednesday (excluding July, August and Bank Holidays). Ceremony-only packages are available in both suites.

Hire chairs must be delivered to the room on the morning of the wedding and collected the following morning. Suppliers are responsible for setup.

No. Chair covers are not provided but external suppliers may be used. They must be delivered and collected within strict timings.

Date changes may be possible if made more than 12 months in advance and are subject to a transfer fee.

Children under 10 have a dedicated menu, and ages 10-14 receive a reduced adult portion unless dietary requirements apply.

Yes, but they require a Royal Parks permit. Double-decker buses are not permitted inside the park.

Yes, but only paper confetti inside ceremony rooms. Confetti cannons are not permitted anywhere on site.

A booking is confirmed once the hire fee is paid, the booking form is completed, and Terms & Conditions are signed.

Yes. No pins, staples, tape or Blu Tack are allowed on walls or surfaces. Only approved fixing methods can be used.

Yes. You are welcome to bring your own suppliers or use our recommended list. Drone photography is not permitted.

No. Fireworks, Chinese lanterns and sparklers are not permitted due to our location in a National Nature Reserve.

Yes. Outdoor ceremonies are available on the Belvedere terrace or in the Woodland Garden (Russell Suite), weather permitting.

Russell Suite: up to 70 seated / 100 evening guests
Belvedere: up to 140 seated / 200 evening guests

Minimum guest numbers apply depending on date and season.

Final balances must be paid 30 days before the wedding via bank transfer.

Smoking is only permitted outside the building in designated areas.

Yes. A 2-course supplier meal is available at £32 per person when suppliers dine separately.

Sweet carts are allowed only with evening buffets. Alcoholic favours (5cl bottles) are permitted with a £1.50 per person charge.

Yes, table décor can usually be delivered the day before or on the morning of the wedding by arrangement.

We provide round tables seating up to 10 guests, plus long top tables depending on layout.

Yes. White tablecloths and napkins are included. Outdoor linen for the Belvedere terrace is available at an additional charge.

Yes. Tastings are available after your main meeting for a set fee, including selected dishes and wines.

Yes. VAT is included in all pricing. A discretionary service charge may be added but can be removed on request.

We provide one waiter or waitress per 10 guests as standard.

Yes. A 3-course wedding breakfast is required for all weddings, with menu options provided in advance.
